The way you look and behave is constantly observed by the people around you. Even in your most intimate moments, your own behavior is influenced by your experience of being watched by others. Standing in front of a mirror, you see a reflection of yourself. You become the observant other of yourself but also the subject of observation itself. The mirror image represents your outer self as seen by others, as much as your inner self – made up of desires, wishes, ideals and aspirations – which only you can see.

Interactive mirror installation using a magic mirror to reflect back to the viewer. The viewer’s expression reflects back my own expression on a prerecorded video series. You are constantly criticized.
